We have a lot to celebrate at King’s: we are a great place to be and a place to be great. The school motto of ‘working together for success’ summarises the key ethos of the school: somewhere people exceed their potential and go on to achieve more than they could have imagined. We are starting to embed our new school values which have been created collaboratively by students and staff and represent Claxton’s ‘Four Rs of Learning Power (2002) in our own way :Keep improvingImagine and createNever give upGrow togetherSucceed in all you do Despite a closing situation, we are committed to ‘drawing up’ and will ensure the highest standards and very best provision for your children and our staff.
The key to ethos is that it’s something more than a motto on a school jumper or website, or a notion in someone’s head: it’s something that is lived out every day in the interactions within the school. The care, creativity and collaboration from our staff are excellent and I feel confident saying that you really won’t get anything like this anywhere else in the world. We are a very good school with outstanding features and our commitment to working together for your children is exceptional.
